To whom it may concern:

I am writing to you for your assistance in obtaining my children back from CYS. Under false allegations and the pretense of an emergency over issues that had occurred over a week prior (that again were embellished and falsified), my children were taken under the “pretense” of an emergency for their welfare and safety and placed in the [name and location removed for privacy].

My oldest son has since been placed at [name removed for privacy], which was planned without CYS’s involvement. So, at least he is temporarily out of their clutches. And, according to CYS themselves, they want me to remain involved with his care. Part of which is coming home every other weekend as part of his treatment. CYS was not thrilled over that.

They did admit to the administrator and psychiatrist at [name removed for privacy] that there was no substantiated abuse. Their initial reason for involvement was truancy. They later added on missed doctor appointments and lack of parental supervision.

My younger son is still at the shelter.

Because my youngest son had made the threat of bringing a shotgun (we own no weapons) to school and shooting his teacher (whom he has complained of for the past couple of weeks), two students and his brother. He was then placed on suspension until he could be seen by his psychiatrist to determine whether or not it was “safe” for him to return to school. His doctor wanted him to go to [name removed for privacy] to be further evaluated to determine whether or not he was bluffing just to get out of school. And, I guess depending upon the results would go from there.

My youngest son has also missed his cognitive assessment testing at CADD (Center for Autism and Developmental Delays) as well as an IPST meeting at [name removed for privacy] in order for his WRAP services to start.

Part of their accusations has been that they miss doctor appointments. My youngest has missed three very important appointments for his services. The very thing that they have accused me of, they are doing to my son.

So, he now sits deprived of his family, the necessary further evaluations at Day Hospital with the possible return to school. Along with not having the needed therapeutic support from his WRAP services, which he really needs and will now not be able to have until he goes for another pysch evaluation. That takes a couple of weeks for the paperwork and the approval from CBHNP.

None of which is helping him at all. In fact, just the opposite. He has emotional and mental issues anyway. This only adds to it. He will now have further mental health issues that may take years, if ever to be worked through.

Because of time constraints, my son will now have to go through another psych evaluation in order to be able to make new appointments to obtain these services as CBHNP requires psych evaluations every 3-4 months.

This is a further unnecessary waste of tax dollars caused by CYS.

After telling my adult daughter at the “temporary custody hearing” last Friday, the 19th, at the courthouse in front of my attorney, again before we left and then again at my older son’s admission to [name removed for privacy] that she may have kinship of my younger son, they informed her by a cell phone call that she may not have him because last February my older son came home with me after being with her for 10 days.

Coincidentally, this came a day after notifying them in writing not to question or have my sons write or fill in paper work regarding my treatment of them and of each other. Nothing was ever said nor done until now.

I truly feel that this was done out of spite, simply because they can and for no other reason. She fully intends to appeal it as soon as she receives the denial letter. But, unfortunately all of this takes time. As they seem to keep adding one roadblock after another.

Worst of all, behind their allegations, most are simply untrue or are embellished.

Although my attorney assures me that I will get them back after completing their “plan”; the same one I’ve had for the past 1 1/2 years, there is always one more thing or something not fully complied with.

Please help me with getting my sons back and CYS out of my life. For a change, please consider myself and my sons innocent until proven guilty; not the other way around. The way that CYS works. I’d like my sons with full physical and legal custody and CYS out of my life. At this point, I really feel like it has become a personal thing and that they are using their power to do anything they please.

Especially since their allegations can easily be proven to be false through witnesses and through copies of doctor’s notes, etc.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible. As I’m sure you can understand, I need my 10 year old son returned to either myself or my daughter as soon as possible in order to meet his mental health needs as well as his physical care.

As I’m sure you can understand, this matter requires your immediate attention.
